Now Isn't This Handy: A Belt Buckle/MetroCard Holster

TMRnyc has done it again. First, their ingenious SideWired desk, and now an equally smart solution to an age-old problem: Where is that damn MetroCard?

A bit of background:

The subway rushed in. Fumbling at the turnstile with his coffee, gloves, and skateboard, Patrick missed the train—again.

A high-end blacksmith known for custom belt buckles, Patrick Quinn had just moved to New York. He thought about his MetroCard problem, and suddenly, he had a solution. Enter the limited edition MetroCard Belt Buckle.

Without question, the buckle makes life easier. Patrick now flies through the turnstile with a smile on his face—and catches the train every time.

The buckle, handmade in Brooklyn, is made of steel and lined in fiery red die-cut felt. It perfectly holds a fare card until you’re ready to use it; no more holding up lines of people that are anxiously awaiting their turn.
